With experience as a display installation artist and product design, I have developed an innate sense of visual storytelling and balance that I use to craft my own unique style of floral arrangments and installations.
I so strongly believe that you can feel the difference between a room that houses lush, beautiful blooms and one that just has nice linens, tables, and chairs.
I consider what I do a valuable part of creating a treasured and memorable wedding experience for my couples and one of my greatest privileges is creating the natural beauty that surrounds and adorns them on their wedding day.
Logistics and Planning Expert
Willie is Kristen's husband and co-founder of Leman Floral.
With a background in engineering, he's the backbone of the operation. He runs the numbers, keeps things on budget, and handles the logistics of pulling off your wedding without a hitch.
After successfully planning and executing our own wedding, we noticed how stressful the process of meeting and booking vendors for a wedding could be and how no one seemed to want to change that in the industry. After moving from Louisiana to Mississippi in 2016, we founded Leman Floral. We do things a little differently because we think it's time the floral industry is shaken up a little!
We believe flowers should move and breathe
& GIVE NODS TO NATURE.
We appreciate nuances in color,
and the natural curves of each stem.
We create lush designs that are romantic, full of blooming life,
and yet are always elegant and graceful.
You won't find a tight bouquet of roses
or mounds of hydrangeas here.
But you will find garden roses from independent growers in the US,
fringed tulips delicately draped over the side of an antique vessel,
and fun hellebores showing off their stunning petals.
WHERE DID THE NAME LEMAN FLORAL COME FROM?
(pronounced like the fruit!)
We stumbled across an old, forgotten poem that referenced a time when young men would woo their lemans (true loves) by going out and gathering flowers at the crack of dawn to present on midsummer's day.
We loved the idea of freshly picked flowers portraying honest and deep feelings of love and adoration.
What better way to celebrate your big day than with beautiful blooms from the earth?
